COME SAY GOODBYE TO THE PROFESSORS OF THE POLITICAL SCIENCE DEPARTMENT IF YOU ARE A SENIOR, OR JUST LET LOOSE BEFORE FINALS AS WE NEAR THE END OF THE SEMESTER AND CELEBRATE ALL THE ACCOMPLISHMENTS PSA HAS ACHEIVED!

Next Chapter Meeting

ATTENTION PSA!

Our next chapter bi-monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday April 22nd at 12:15pm in IPJ 253 (Map Room).

We will be discussing the end of the semester banquet and a fundraising project that is in the works. Please attend this meeting and show your support for PSA.

For those of you that purchased t-shirts, they will be available at this meeting only.

As the year is drawing to a close, we will be having only 1 more formal meeting, so please come if you have not already.

ATTENTION PSA!!

Our annual fundraiser and Banquet are in the works!

Thanks to those who came to the last meeting of members! Those who didn't make it, you missed out!

We have decided on a date for the PSA Student and Professor Banquet!! SAVE THE DATE: The BAQUET will be held on THURSDAY May 1st at 6PM. LOCATION TBA. SO MARK THE CALENDARS!

ALSO we are putting together a fundraiser for our chapter. We need to raise around $100.00 to purchase a PSA banner. So if you have any items we can raffle off for donations, please let PSA Executives know by either coming to the next meeting or an e-mail.

IMMIGRATION DISCUSSION FORUM TONIGHT!

ATTENTION!! TONIGHT IS THE PSA SPONSORED IMMIGRATION DISCUSSION FORUM

Tonight at 7pm in the Institute for Peace & Justices Rotunda Theater, PSA will be hosting along with the Trans-Border Institute, a discussion forum on the issue of IMMIGRATION featuring two faculty professors.

The event is FREE, parking is FREE and Refreshments are provided!!

Please show up early as seating is limited. But please spread the word and make this an event to remember!

GO TO THE NATIONAL CONVENTIONS THIS SUMMER!!

This is a reminder to anyone interested in politics that a unique opportunity is available to USD students.

This summer, Dr. Williams in conjunction with The Washington Center is hosting a 3 unit only 12 day seminar and internship at either the Republican or Democratic National conventions!!

This is absolutly a once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of one of the biggest, events in American politics. Plus you get 3-units in only 2 weeks!!

Please contact Dr. Williams or Dr. Gary Gray about this opportunity. Deadline to apply is March 31st, so get on it!! Seriously! We need five more USD students to sign up!!

CONGRATULATIONS TOREROS!!!!

PSA would like to congratulate the Men's basketball team on their recent triumph over #4 ranked UCONN in the NCAA Tournament!! GO TOREROS!!!!

We would also like to congratulate the women's basketball team on their recent WCC championship win!! Great job ladies!!!!
Please support both your teams as they represent our school in the NCAA Tournament this month!!

Also, please watch and support your Men's B-Ball team as they play for win number two on Sunday March 23rd!!!
